4 decades on, law catches up with 81-yr-old murder accused

An 81-year-old man, Shivraj Singh, was arrested by Firozabad police in Madhya Pradesh's Indore after evading capture for over four decades. Singh had changed his identity and worked at a sweet shop in Indore. In 1982, he was initially arrested for beating a man to death in a land dispute case, but had managed to secure bail and disappeared after selling his properties. The police were able to locate him with the help of his daughters and technical resources.
