A rescue operation successfully drilled through the road to rescue a stray dog that was stuck in a drain for 48 hours in south Delhi's Green Park Extension. The fire service received a call about the trapped dog and a team led by sub-officer Om Prakash reached the spot. They initially tried to break the drain's side wall, but the enormous amount of muck hindered their efforts. Eventually, they drilled a hole on the top of the drain and pulled out the dog. Videos of the rescue operation show the dog being petted by the firemen. Atul Garg commends the fire personnel for their work.
