Rahul Gandhi summoned again by UP court in 2018 defamation case against Amit Shah

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been summoned by the MP/MLA court in connection with a defamation case against Union home minister Amit Shah. Gandhi failed to appear initially and a second summons was issued. He is now required to appear before the court on January 6. In a 2018 press conference, Gandhi accused Amit Shah of murder and mentioned the judge Loya case. BJP leader Vijay Mishra filed the case against Gandhi. Gandhi could face a maximum punishment of 2 years if sufficient evidence is found against him.
