Wife as CM? Soren dismisses speculation as 'BJP imagination'

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on Tuesday dismissed as "BJP's imagination" the speculation that he was orchestrating a plan to install wife Kalpana in his place by having her elected from an assembly seat whose JMM MLA resigned abruptly over the weekend. Three-time legislator Sarfaraz Ahmad had quit as the lawmaker from Gandey within hours of Soren ignoring a seventh summons in an alleged Ranchi land scam. Soren told PTI that the speculation had no iota of truth.
