(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KHARTOUM, April 8 (KUNA) -- At least 132 people were killed and 155 others injured in violence acts erupted in Sudan's West Darfur, governor of the state Mohamed Abdalla Al-Doma said on Thursday.The forces in the state could not control the situation and back-up troops arrived late, he told a news conference.Situation in the state's capital, Geneina, has become stable after looting and destruction acts in the city, Al-Doma noted.Sudan's defense and security council declared a state of emergency in the state and mandated regular forces to take required steps to settle the conflicts.On April 3, clashes between tribes erupted following shooting fired by unidentified persons that killed two of Massalit tribe.West Darfur State witnesses clashes from time to time.
