Police were alerted to an incident of alleged road rage in Bridge Road, Exeter.

The incident occurred at around 4.30pm, on Thursday, 18 March.  

It was reported that following a collision, the two drivers exited their vehicles and following a verbal altercation, one man assaulted the other to the face.

The man sustained a broken jaw and was treated in hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
