NASA: History-making Mars copter ingenuity takes last flight

NASA's little helicopter on Mars, Ingenuity, has taken its last flight after spending nearly three years on the red planet, covering 14 times as much ground as initially planned. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson announced the end of the mission, describing Ingenuity as the 'little helicopter that could'. Ingenuity is a small helicopter that became the first aircraft to achieve powered flight on another planet, in 2021.
