Angels fire Nevin a day after 73-89 season ends

A day after the club finished the season at 73-89, Phil Nevin was fired as manager of the Los Angeles Angels, the team announced Monday, but general manager Perry Minasian will remain with the club in the same role and speak to the media on Tuesday.
