'Golden State Killer' Joseph James DeAngelo sentenced to life in prison over string of murders, rapes

Joseph James DeAngelo, a former California police officer convicted in a string of murders and rapes in the 1970s and '80s under the "Golden State Killer" nickname, was sentenced Friday to life in prison with no chance for parole.
