U.S. surpasses 9 million coronavirus cases

There have now been over 9 million coronavirus cases in the United States, rising by nearly 100,000 cases on Friday alone. Some states are doubling down on safety measures, while others are still resisting stricter guidelines. Halloween and the election are complicating the country's battle against the pandemic.
