Garland Halts Federal Executions, Says DOJ Must Ensure All Criminal Justice System Are Treated Humanely

Attorney General Merrick Garland has commanded a temporary suspension to the DOJ advocating scheduling of further executions of federal inmates. He said they should be treated fairly and humanely.
