Feds recommend changes to national gun background check system in wake of 2019 Sol Pais incident

The U.S. Department of Justice recommended a change in how background checks on gun purchases are conducted after an 18-year-old was allowed to illegally buy a shotgun in Colorado in an incident that closed hundreds of schools and led to a large manhunt across the Front Range.
