Pakistan appeals acquittal of men convicted of beheading U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl

Pakistan's government on Friday appealed to the country's Supreme Court to review its decision to free an Islamist convicted of kidnapping and beheading U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl, a day after the United States expressed "deep concerns" over the ruling.
