European countries tighten COVID-19 measures to tackle Omicron surge before New Year

The World Health Organization Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned that he is "highly concerned that Omicron being more transmissible, circulating at the same time as Delta, is leading to a tsunami of cases."
