Shark bites man in Florida, leaving him hospitalized

ViewA man was hospitalized in Florida Sunday afternoon after a shark bit him.

The incident happened on Anna Maria Island, a barrier island on the state's Gulf Coast.

The West Manatee Fire District said a report of the incident came in around 3:40 p.m.
