China sets AI regulations with ‘core socialist values’

The Cyberspace Administration of China has set interim rules to manage generative AI, saying it needs to be in line with “core socialist values.” While China is moving fast to regulate the industry, critics warn it may not be equipped to avoid an AI disaster. CNN’s Kristie Lu Stout reports.
