After not playing Laurie Strode for 16-years Jamie Lee Curtis is returning to the 'Halloween' franchise.

"This year's sequel ignores the events of every chapter of the series, other than the original film, kicking off the fifth timeline." Comicbook.com The film also ignores the idea that Strode and Michael Myers are related.

The film premieres on October 19th this year.
