'Stranger Things' stars out in Los Angeles for world premiere

Season 3 of the Netflix supernatural mystery series out July 4 is probably "the most scariest yet", says Gaten Matarazzo who plays Dustin Henderson.

Rough cut (no reporter narration).

The cast of Netflix's breakout supernatural mystery series "Stranger Things" turned out in Los Angeles on Friday night (June 28) for the world premiere of the show's much anticipated third season.

"Stranger Things" became a global phenomenon after its debut on Netflix in 2016, as viewers were drawn to the show's 1980s throwback and the supernatural mystery haunting the small town of Hawkins, Indiana.

"I think everything is intensified, I think it is really great season and people are really going to enjoy it.

It is emotional, it's funny, it's really scary.

It's actually, probably, the scariest season yet," said Gaten Matarazzo, who plays the character of Dustin Henderson in the show.

"It is very different.

This season is a lot more fun, it is a lot more scary.

It is very sad at the end so be prepared.

It is a good season," added actor Noah Schnapp, who plays the character of Will Byers, who went missing in the first season as he was trapped in the Upside Down, a cold, desolate, parallel world that houses an evil monster called the Demogorgon.

The adults and teenagers of "Stranger Things 3" wrestle emotionally with the events of the first two seasons and now also, what may have crossed over into their town from the Upside Down.

Australian actor Dacre Montgomery, who joined "Stranger Things" for its second season, said the show offered something for everyone.

"It is just relatable, do you know what I mean?

You've got kids, adolescents, like teenagers, adults, all going through things that everyone across the planet has experienced and they are all different.

Each person in the show is different and is on their own different journey and struggling with different things and I think is what is relatable, past the science fiction element obviously," said Montgomery, who plays the character of Billy Hargrove.

"Stranger Things 3," which also stars Winona Ryder and Millie Bobby Brown, streams on Netflix from July 4.
