If you saw spiderman and other super heroes repelling down sacred heart children's hospital today don't worry -- your eyes weren't tricking you.
It's super heros for kids week at 4 news now -- we're teaming up with children's miracle network to bring smiles to kids dealing with serious injuries and illness.
Only our cameras were inside to capture all the emotions and excitement these heroic window washers new on nightside -- kyle simchuk takes us inside some of those hospital rooms where kids were beyond excited.
Many of those children-- can't enjoy the everyday summer activities they'd normally be doing right now... So every year these window washers go out of their way to make sure there is something for them to look forward to... 06:49:17"i'm so excited."

:027 year old michael wasn't the only kid staring out the window -- waiting for the superheroes.

Each window, a child... Each window a family not knowing what the future holds.
Today -- the fear was put on hold for a moment.
01:37:24 26-29 "we get to do what we do anyway which is climb off buildings which is pretty fun, and then we get to wave at the kids."

:02this is a day eric cantzer -- president of west coast window cleaning looks forward to each year.
Today he was joined by his own two sons -- hundreds of feet in the air.
01:37:42"some of them aren't doing so well so you get a smile, you brighten their day a little bit."
:04 last year alone -- sacred heart children's hospital treated more than 54 thousand kids.
Last night -- 81 spent the night away from the comforts of their own home, and today surgeries saved 26 lives.

03levi owen spent 51 days on a life saving machine battling an saving machine battling an illness damaging his heart and lungs.
His parents say he wouldn't be here today without the doctors at sacred heart, children's miracle network, and generous donations.
And i love the hospital because they're the one that bought the machine and raised money so i could stay alive and go home with my family, like i am right now."

No child is ever turned away from the hospital -- regardless of the families ability to pay.
