The barry county sheriff's office says a couple of road district workers had a scary experience at work last month.
The sheriff's office says the workers were checking on road damage on farm road 20-57 in barry county when cheryl staponski -- a 59-year-old from purdy -- allegedly pulled a gun on them.
Authorities say she even went as far as chambering a round before the workers drove off.
The victims say she also threatened to have her dog attack them.
Staponski is charged with two counts of first degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of unlawful use of a weapon.
