Mike Pence's Leadfooted Trip To Mackinac Island Goes Over Like A Lead Balloon
Vice President Mike Pence rolled onto Mackinac Island in northern Michigan Saturday.
According to HuffPost, the VP was there to attend the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference.
However, he ignored the cherished island's car-free policy.
Instead, he arrived in not one big car, but as part of a caravan of eight black SUVs.
And the locals didn’t like it.
Except for emergency vehicles, cars have been prohibited on the island for 121 years.
