The former superintendent of delphi community schools is speaking out tonight for the first time since has was fired in september.
Greg briles says his reputation is on the line because community members think he is responsible for the financial condition of the school district.
He and his lawyer cleared the air this afternoon saying no money is missing.
A financial advisor hired by the school district says he found, quote, "no illegal or improper expenditures made or approved by the superintendent," end quote.
Briles says there was a mix of communication issues stemming from new software, and the district's former treasurer resigning.
He adds he wants to i respect them, i hope they respected what i did for the community and their school for the years that i was there.
In a settlement with briles we obtained last night, the school board said "philosophical differences" were
