President Donald Trump may have put words into Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's mouth.

Trump claimed McConnell told him his call to the Ukraine president was “the most innocent phone call that I’ve ever read.” The president was referring to the transcript of his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

But McConnell said Tuesday he’s never had a conversation about the phone call with the president.

We’ve not had any conversations on that subject.
