Munson williams is helping you take a trip down memory lane..... in a way only munson can do.

"memoryscape" is the newest exhibit at the museum... and it was put together by a professor at pratt m-w-p.

Daniel buckingham uses butcher paper, from "cash and carry" on broad street....to form turtle shells....like one he picked up in the utica marsh as a kid.

And inside the shells....are objects, memories....that tell a story.

There's a lot of "utica" in this display.

Daniel buckingham sculptor 8:01:42 there's an arabic term here - explo,n neon - it written on the bottom edge of the turtle shell.

It's referencg the ethnic cultures that have come through utica over time.

Abou120ears ago oro ere were a number of christian arabs that came from syria - they're still r they're intigrated into the fabric of utica.

What makes uticunique is the ethnic culture that is present, very much sothey're intigrated into the f fabric 02:13 memoryscape
