With indiana schools closed until may 1st, they took to the streets to say hello.
More than twenty cars made up the 'teacher parade' for the elementary students.
The route ran through several neighborhoods monday to reach the entire student body.
The route was designed so that social distancing is practiced amidst coronavirus concerns.
Parent adriana mesaros says she and her daughter appreciate the gesture.
It's hard for everyone, but stay in the car, stay a safe distance between us so we don't spread the virus.
But, we're all in this together.
It's better to be in a school with them teaching me than being at home and doing work.
Wyandotte says they hope that by the 31st, they'll be able to tell students the plan going forward.
