Coronavirus deaths in Tippah, Harrison counties bring state death toll to 8

For the tippah county death, the state not releasing much information about the person except that they are charting hospitalizations by age, which shows how serious the risk of severe illness is for those over 60 statewide, we're now up to 579cases with five deaths when you look at the state map -- the top population centers with the most cases.

Desoto county -- northwest mississippi right outside of memphis -- is has 63 cases.

Hinds county -- that's where jackson is located -- is behind with 50 cases.

34 cases can be found in harrison county on the mississippi gulf coast, which is where gulfport and biloxi are located.
