Tippecanoe County Commissioners meeting will be live streamed

The Tippecanoe County Commissioners monthly meeting is Monday morning at 10.

But the meeting will be online.

Commissioner tom murtaugh says they will stream the meeting on facebook and on their youtube channel.

Questions and comments from the public can be sent through email.

People can also submit during the live stream in the chat section.

Murtaugh says this is a form of social distancing and something they'll continue to do during this time.

"we want to follow the directive of our governor and also our local health department and keep these meetings as small as possible.

We also have to obviously keep county government functioning and we have to have these meetings in order to do that.

So we are trying to do it with having as few people as possible in one place."
