The school's manufacturing class is 3D printing and then donating shield frames for local hospital workers.

For more than a week now, the teachers have been printing shield frames.

The designs were created by local engineers familiar with what's needed at hospitals.

The materials and labor involved is all being donated by the school and its staff.

(take brenda key) brenda bunge says, "i will continue to print these things as long as we need them.

And my district has been generous in that they have allowed me to donate our pla, which is our material that we're using, and be able to run the machines pretty much all day and all evening."

Each frame takes about five hours to print.

The school can make about six frames a day.
