Are increasing domestic violence and restraining order violations have seen a slight up-tick as well.

Traffic incidents on the otherhand have decreased..

Sheriff kevin torgerson also says right now the detention center is down to 72 detainees..

And won't go over 75.

The department says that's about as low as it can get at this point.

The sheriff says that will all ow the department to minimize impact if there is a case of coronavirus.

Jes-sot-1 it gives us some flexibility if we do get covid in the facility that we can separate and keep people separated in there and minimize the spread that might go on inside with detainees but as well as with our staff, keeping that as low as possible.

Jes-live sot-3 the department is also working on a plan for decontaminatio n efforts if there is a case of covid-19 in the jail.

The department also says its moved to an "on-call program" which allows staff to work from home and minimizes contact between staff.
