Greeks seen having a "Corona-Party" during nationwide lock-down

People in the residential area of Thessaloniki, the second-largest city in Greece, were seen having a night party during the coronavirus lockdown,.

Footage from the night of April 11 shows music being played from houses while people danced on balconies and in the streets, in defiance of government lockdown and guidelines for social distancing.

Greece is under a general lockdown, a quarantine with traffic ban, movement restrictions, shops closed, limitation in the number of people in gatherings.

These measures, and others, are imposed by the Greek Government as preventive measures against the spread of Coronavirus during the ongoing pandemic.
