Health officials in the state say the cases are no longer growing exponentially.

Pritzker said the number of covid-19 tests that have come back positive is almost exactly the same as it has been for the last 2-weeks... and the death toll today is lower than it has been in 6-days.

Pritzker credits this to the efforts of the stay at home order.

He says residents must continue to stay the course.

"doctors and experts confirm the fact that illinois having been the second state to announce a stay-at-home order now seems to be reaching a peeking terminal& term, and our hopes have been coming to fruition.
