Police identify person shot three times in Clay County on Sunday

Spoke "with police" today.

"jada" joins us now here in the studio "with what she's learned".

////// susie... it all happened just after midnight sunday morning.

That's at a home near state road 3-40 and 500 west.

Police aren't releasing a lot of details right now.

But here's what we do know.

Police say james hill was shot inside the home.

Witnesses who live there told police hill was injured from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say hill and another person got into a fight and shot at each other.

Police aren't releasing the name of the second person involved at this time.

We do know that hill was taken to regional hospital for surgery.

We're told he is in stable condition.

Now you may remember..

One person was shot and killed at a home in the same area just two months ago.

I spoke with clay county chief deputy josh clarke today.

He says these were two isolated situations..

And there is no concern for public safety at this time.

Again, the incidents are compleltey separate.

Not the same you know what so ever.

Ironic yes, but not something that's concerning."
