On the Phone: Mental Health Expert Brynnan Reddy
We are into the fourth week of social distancing due to coronavirus - and for many of not all of you - it's taking some kind of mental toll.
Whether it's being cooped up over this time at home - the fear of getting the virus - changes in sleeping or eating - and yes self medicating - but as our guest tells us this morning - there are ways to cope in a healthy way.
Joining us now is licensed professional counselor brynnan reddy.
Brynnan - good morning what are some of the things - behaviors we should recognize before we can do something about it?
Ways to reduce stress?
Or anxiety?
Many are so isolated - working from home or not working - but stuck home - what do we do to stay connected?
For parents - what should we look out for with our children - they are at home - with blended learning.
We can also "old school" it right!"?
Board games and those kinds of digitally disconnecting - and doing something that forces you to interact with family deep breaths - medication - is there a quick exercise we can all do right now -all together?
Licensed professional counselor brynnan reddy - great advice.
Thanks for helping us out.
