The hospital began a respirtory clinic for covid-19 patients less than a month ago.

But...due to a low number of cases in the county... the hospital is downsizing the clinic.

This week crawford memorial also unveiled a drive thru lab.

The lab is meant to allow patients to stay in their car if they need lab work done.

All residents have to do is drive up to the hospital's former south entrance.

There... hospital staff will find out what lab work is needed.

Then staff can do most of that work from the patient's car.

Officals at crawford memorial hope this helps to keep social distancing in the community.

I think that this is going to take off as we get closer to the potential re-opening of the hospital.

I think that this is just a good stop-gap."

Florowski says he is confident that the hospital and it's staff are ready if the surge comes to crawford county.
