Eminem Celebrates 12 Years of Sobriety The rapper shared the milestone with a picture of his Alcoholics Anonymous coin on Instagram.

Eminem, via Instagram Eminem has been sharing his journey on social media for the past couple of years.

In 2018, he posted a picture along with the caption, "Celebrated my 10 years yesterday." Last year, on his 11th anniversary, he wrote, "11 years – still not afraid." Back in 2010, Eminem detailed a past pill addiction with 'The New York Times' after nearly dying from an overdose in 2007.

He then went to rehab.

In 2015, he revealed that exercise helped to overcome his addiction.

Eminem, via 'Men's Journal' Eminem credits his 24-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade, with helping him bounce back.

He also received help from two adopted daughters, 17-year-old Whitney and 26-year-old Alaina Marie.

In the songs "Castle" and "Arose" from his 2017 album, 'Revival,' Eminem raps to Hailie about the whole ordeal.
