Spanish children were allowed to leave home for the first time today (April 26th) after six weeks of coronavirus lockdown.

Under the new rules, up to three children who live together can now walk up to a kilometre from home for one hour, accompanied by one adult family member or carer.

This clip shows three masked children from one family enjoying their first taste for freedom in San Jose in Almeria today (April 26th).

"To begin with they were slightly overwhelmed by the great outdoors after being inside for so long," said their mother, Anya Rosenberg.
