Stranded students return home after prolonged wait in northern India

A special bus ferried as many as 20 students, who were stranded across several states, and brought them back to their home state in northern India's Himachal Pradesh   According to reports, the first batch of students stranded in Chandigarh city was transported to Solan on April 25.

The students were taken to a quarantine centre, where their medical checkup was done following registration.

Footage shows the students wearing face masks alighting from the bus and walking towards the facility.

According to local media, a seating plan was administered inside the bus while maintaining the social distancing rules set by medical advisers.
