The 1- point- 3 million dollar grant came from the association of indiana united ways.
The association is distributing several grants, thanks to a 30- million dollar gift from the lilly endowment.
More than a dozen local businesses already contributed to the response fund.
This has allowed them to distribute about 130- thousand dollars already.
