Governor newsom is warning three northern california counties... they could lose disaster funding if they defy the state stay at home order... governor newsom sent out the warning in a letter saturday... days after yuba, sutter, and modoc counties allowed businesses to re- open..

This morning... several members of the white house coronavirus task force are self isolating... including infectious disease expert dr. anthony fauci..

This comes after another white house staffer close to the vice president tested positive for the virus..

White house representatives say the vice president will not be self isolating, and is being tested daily..

A mystery illness has health investigators in new york trying to figure out what is impacting dozens of children.

Hospitals in the area have reported 73 cases of the severe illness doctors believe may be tied tot he coronavirus.

New york governor andrew cuoma talked about this new threat... after the deaths of three chilren, with symptoms similar to toxic shock syndrome.

The governor says the centers for disease control has asked new york to come up with "national criteria" that other states can follow to begin tracking this new illness.

### new this morning... police are investigating after shooting at a party left 2 people in critical condition and 3 others injured... police say more than 600 people were at a park party sunday night in fort worth texas... police say around someone set off fireworks before a gunman opened fire... so far, no arrests have been made and police are still looking into a motive.

### shasta county-- says it's ready to reopen more businesses--- county leaders sent a letter to governor newsom outlining its plan to move quickly through phase 2.

The shasta county public health officer says the county meets the criteria to move forward in opening more businesses in this phase.

This includes businesses that are originially no* part of the phase 2 plan such as..

House cleaners and repairs... hair and nail salons, tatoo parlors-- and gyms&.

The county is asking that those businesss be added to the stage 2 list of "low risk" businesses so long as they practice social distancing and other safety guidelines.

Hundred's of people came out to celebrate the 85th annual mother's day rodeo ---for the most part--- people ignoring social distancing despite the sign--- asking people to practice safety precautions.

Public health advising the organizer---jeff davis--- to cancel or postpone the event ---people coming out for different reasons.

Cal fire fought a brush fire in east oroville sunday afternoon - the fire burned in the robinson mill area, off of mather lane.

Cal fire says it burned about 5 acres of brush.

Forward progress had been stopped.

No reports of any evacuations or injuries there.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Hundreds of people in north chico spent a good part of their 'mother's day' sunday without power.

The power went out about noon and was out in some areas up to three hours..

A pg&e worker told action news now some 'mylar foil balloons' came in contact with the power lines at garner lane and porchlight court..

The contact sparked a small fire..

And neighbors quickly worked together..

Lori mc-dermott lives off garner..

And said they used their hoses and shovels and got to work to put out the fire.

15-hundred pg&e customers north of eaton road to the keefer road area lost power..

Most of the power was restored by 3pm.

Saturday vehicles of all kinds gathered for the*durham road rally* over 75 vehicles joined in-- from jeeps, tractors and corvettes to trucks & vintage cars... including the volunteer fire department.

They paraded down the midway to brown street and zig zagged through the streets of durham.

Folks watched & cheered along the sidewalks..

Downtown and from their front yards.
