Joining us tonight.

As indiana starts to open up -- people from neighboring states with tighter restrictions are coming in.

Michigan, illinois, and ohio are still closed which means businesses at the border can expect to see out of state plates in their parking lot.

Fox 55'sjentill neal is live in angola where tonight she talked to a group of people from michigan.

So, jentill what brings them to steuben county?

Well hunter, it may seem simple--- but dining in is what brought them over.

They say carry out is getting old and they just miss having that experience.

Today captain's cabin restaurant is reopening after weeks of carry-out only because of indiana's stay at home order.but now that the state is relaxing its restrictions ... people are coming in numbers.> 2:22:25-02:22:48"we're going to do the best job that we possibly can.

We do have some people that are calling for larger groups.

Which we will accommodate at separate tables.

As to the volume of business, think that's anybody's guess.

We're in unchartered waters.

I don't think we can visualize what's going to happen until we get a few weeks under our belt."the opening also attracted a group of people from as far away as lansing -- not just for the food - but because dining in still isn't an option in michigan.>02:25:29-"we assembled here because we live in the people's republic of michigan now that is closed down.

And many of the restaurants that could be open are closed and it doesn't make sense."linda lee tarver and several others made the two- hour trip just for this meal and she believes more people will follow suit.

02:28:21-02:28:34"chicago, ohio, michigan definitely... until they start opening the state and allowing us to support our own restaurants, i'll be coming here."steve duggan is happy that steuben county is close enough.

02:32:32-02:32:42"i would much rather do this and drive 80 miles to be here than do a fast food, carry out restaurant or one more pizza at my house."brunson's only request is paitence right now.

02:23:38-02:23:58"all of us have had to put on extra staff to keep our distancing, to keep our cleanliness, to keep our customers seperated and we're 50% capacity, there's a need to keep a little bit more organization as far as our dining rooms are concerned."

For those who are wondering, it is nearly a 2 hour drive between lansing and angola which is where some of the michiganders are from.
