Many gyms are getting ready to re-open their doors for the first time since March.

All are following new guidelines, designated by Governor Brown.

Under phase one of the re-opening process there are new guidelines they have to follow.

Gyms must have members and staff maintain 6 feet of distance, limit the number of people, limit activity to non-contact, and several other procedures.

Now each gym may differ a little on how they implement those new guidelines.

Orange theory fitness in medford says it will be shortening classes to allow for more cleaning time between classes and less overlap in the lobby.

They'll be doing temperature checks, have members assigned to certain machines and asked to stay in their car until classes start.

They will also be adding "open gym" spots members can sign up for.

That allows members to use the equipment, but they don't have to jump back into a regular class.

Superior athletic club is also re-opening it's three locations tomorrow.

The main location on cardley avenue will have new hours.

The pool, spa, sauna, showers, courts, and child care will remain closed and unavailable.

Group classes will resume on june 1-st.

Those classes will be limited based ohealthy.

Some gyms wasted no time getting back to the grind.
