Oroville Rotary Member honored for 62 years of serving on 95th birthday

The Oroville Rotary Club surprised one of their members Tuesday with a drive-by parade for his 95th birthday and 62nd year of serving in Rotary.

Honking happy birthday to rick reichenbach of oroville& dozens of people including oroville police drove by rotary park in oroville to wish rick a happy 95th birthday this afternoon.

Rick served on the rotary for nearly 60 years.

And today instead of getting, he was giving.

Rick handed out his annual scholarship award to cody stuart of oroville.

It felt great.

It felt like someone was out there and willing to help others.

For people to help our youth and doing things that we need& because college isn't cheap anymore.

Stuart raised over 50-thousand dollars worth of gear and donated it to people who lost theirs in the camp fire--- specifically the paradise bass club.

This is the fifth year rick handed out his scholarship award.###
