Comets Boucher, Rafferty named to end of season AHL All-Star Teams

Boucher lead the Comets in scoring while setting multiple team records this season.

Rafferty lead all AHL rookie defenseman in scoring and was previously named to the All-Rookie team on Tuesday.

Players have been recognized among the top players in the a-h-l this year landing spots on the league's 2019-2020 season all- star teams. forward reid boucher has been named to the a-h-l first all-star team while defenseman brogan rafferty has been selected to the second all- star team.

Boucher lead the comets in scoring with a franchise record 67 points this season and set the franchise's single-season goals record with 34...both breaking his own mark from a year ago.

The 26 year old also broke the franchise's career goals record with 90 and tied the comets' career points record with 175 before the season was suspended and eventually cancelled.

Leaguewide - he was second in scoring - but first in points per game with an average of 1.26 it's the latest of many accolades for the sharpshooter since joining the comets three-years ago and today from his michigan home spoke about the recognition.

He also set a comets' record for single-season points by a defenseman and - along with boucher - was named to the a- h-l all-star classic in january.

Boucher and his wife just welcomed their second child - a girl named palmer.
