Protesters in Chico gather for the fifth day in a row

Many people continue to gather in downtown Chico to protest the death of George Floyd for the fifth day in a row.

Today's protest had easily the highest turnout out of the rest of the week.

It was the only protest that was supposed to be scheduled but a lot of people came out and a lot of stories were shared... when i say black lives you say matter, black lives matter x2 there has never been anything like this before you know i am humbled i am somewhat speechless of the turnout that we had here today.

I knew a lot fo people were going to come i wasn't expecting this many different ethnicities to show up but it just shows me that everybody's tired of everything that's been going on more than 500 people showed up to today's protest in downtown chico... all to protest the number of african american lives killed by police... and all week long it was peacefully done... it was good that everybody stuck to the path and that's change the injustice, government, legislations, from the city level all the way up.

If you'er not for change it's going to be change... despite social media threats -- that didn't stop protesters from coming out... the protest ended aroudn to 9 pm and remained peaceful.##
