People protested in roseburg today... for the black lives matter movement.

As kezi 9 news reporter evita garza shows us -- they say even though they're a smaller town... they have a big message to share..

This is the third black lives matter protest held in roseburg.

The crowds here are alot smaller than other gatherings across the state... but, many protesters say this won be the last one in douglas county.

However, not everyone was there in support.

Roseburg resident joe cooper showed up too& to protest against black lives matter.

They just have to respond to the call?

But...that didn stop protesters from being loud and proud.?it overwhelming that there so many people here that are supporting.

Im so happy that here in roseburg we have such a big crowd?

And that why protester say theyl keep fighting until they see change in the world&even if theye fighting from their small town.?it makes me feel welcome in my community honestly.

Cause ie been called the n word in my own hometown?
