Welcome back.... thursday marked an historic day for the saint mary-of-the-woods athletics department, as they begin the process of starting another sports program.... < it's exciting times for saint mary of the woods..in 2021 they'll be starting their inaugural season of men's basketball.....the guy they've picked to run was introduced thursday.

This is doctor enzley mitchell the pomeroys first ever coach.

Mitchell has been down this road before, he help start a men's basketball program at northern new mexico university and he's excited to have the opportunity to it again at saint mary of the woods..... mitchell said the school made his decision easy with eveything they can offer.... one thing you'll learn about coach, he's dedicated to his family and his job!

Mitchell played collegiatley and professionally.
