BBB talks right to work refusals amid pandemic

Welcome back i am here with danielle kane from the bbb and we are talking about the right to work and the regusal to work tduring this pandemic what do employees need to know this is somethien we have been hearing from business owners through out the pandamic people have been staying home and one of the main things they are worried about is that their employees are making more money on un employment than i can pay them it is true but you have to be at will to work and ready to work in oreder to recieve those benefits so if your employer offers you your job back and you decline that, that is a forfeitture of those benefits what can employeers do if their employees say they are not coming back they file a report with the state employment office and that is who is in charge and they need to know that they refused to work but you need to be willing and looking for work and when an employer reports this there is a lot of details they need such as the date you offered the job, what was the job, the reason they did not want to come back can employees win that fight to prove that the employeer is not giving them a safe environment there is a case to be made, if an employee feels that you gave me the right to work but you didn't give ppe then the employeer can report to oshaa cause it is a dangerous environment we are encouraging employeers to contact lawyers and oshaa to make sure you are in compliance but also make sure you are requiring ppe and social distancing anythign else?
