((show and tell)) debbie---only part of the community center is being used as the temporary cooling center.
As you walk in, the*fire sid* room---located to the left of the entrance---is where the cooling center is at.
The center is open daily from 8 a-m to 5 p-m but only until this friday.
Administrator--- karen shaffer--- tells me folks must wear a mask before coming in.
They're providing only water and spacing out chairs far enough to keep that six feet social distance.
Already people have been coming in to use the center.
In the past, we've only had three& no more than four people at a time so our room is set-up so that we can do our social distancing.
If we do go over that then yes we can move to another room.
This year--- tehama county is limiting the number of cooling center locations because of the coronavirus pandemic.
There's also a testing site near this building.
But administrators tell me there's no problem with the cooling center or testing site overlapping.
