North Side Grad Zach McKinstry Hoping to Make MLB Debut This Summer

On a tryout agreement..

From the ice to the diamond... we're now less than one month away from the start of the major league baseball season..

Players will report to training camps next week, as each team will get about three weeks to get ready for opening day..one guy who's hoping to make his big league debut on july 24th... fort wayne native zach mckinstry..the north side high school grad has worked his way up the ladder with the los angeles dodgers organization, and with expanded rosters to start the season, mckinstry's got a good shot at making it to the show at some point this summer..

After hitting over .400 to go along with a pair of homers in the spring, mckinstry has spent most of the last few months trying to stay sharp out in arizona..

The dodgers will hold camp in los angeles beginning
