Syracuse teen dies after shooting

After a shooting during a block party in Syracuse, a 17-year-old victim died from his injuries Friday.

The 17- year-old shot in the head saturday night during a celebration in syracuse say he has passed away.

Chariel osorio was shot along with eight other people before 9 o'clock last saturday night.

This happened just as a celebration of hundreds of people was ending on syracuse's west side.

Family and friends gathered at the scene of the shooting, to hold a vigil and release balloons in osorio's honor.

On tuesday... news channel two reported on the onondaga county district attorney who said at least six people are believed to have opened fire during that party.

No arrests have been announced just yet.... but police believe the shootings were gang-related.
